Christian Entrepreneurship

What is my faith to me?

My Christian faith has been a crucial part of life, especially in the past 6 years. Since the start of High Schools became more and more immersed in the world of Christian scriptures and the way of Christian living.

I was raised Presbyterian but now I pursue a more widely accepting general Protestant views.

Why is faith important in Entrepreneurship?

The truth of Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship are that many tactics and practices are widely immoral and unethical. On top of that many salespeople and marketing experts don’t have the consumer’s best intentions in mind.

I’ve made it my personal goal and mission to pursue my career while abiding by scripture and the life of Christ

I hope to make a difference and set a good example for other young Christian entrepreneurs

Philosophy

Why Philosophy?

It’s so important for students and all young people to know how to think logically and support points with evidence. The scientific method is a prime example of this but another great example is philosophy.

Philosophy invites us to take a solid look at the big questions in life: Who am I? What am I doing here? And gives us a framework for tackling those big questions through logical sequences.

But Chris, aren’t philosophy and Christianity completely opposite from each other? After all, it was the philosopher Nietzsche that said, “God is Dead”. While philosophers have been at ends with believers since the dawn of time, I believe that faith is strengthened through thinking.

I’m currently pursuing a Minor in Philosophy at Stony Brook University.
